Dry Cleaning: For delicate or structured silk garments, professional dry cleaning is recommended.
Washing: Hand wash in cold water with a mild, silk-friendly detergent. If using a washing machine, choose a gentle cycle and place the garment in a mesh laundry bag. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach, as they can damage the fabric.
Drying: Never wring out silk; instead, gently press out excess water with a towel. Lay flat on a clean, dry towel and reshape.
Ironing: Use a low heat setting with steam or iron the garment inside out while slightly damp.
Storage: Store silk garments in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid plastic bags; opt for breathable cotton garment bags.
Stain Removal: Treat stains immediately with a gentle stain remover suitable for silk.
